First
2 Years of Coverage -
Because of the Guaranteed issue feature of this plan,
during the first two years after the insureds effective date, no death claim will be
paid for any reason except for an accident. Instead, any premium paid will be refunded
with interest. After the insureds coverage has been in effect for 2 years, the full
death benefit will be paid for death from any cause.
Your Choice
of Beneficiary
- Choose anyone you wish to be
your beneficiary. The Member is automatically the beneficiary for child(ren)s
coverage. You may change your beneficiary at any time by writing Benefit Choices who
markets this plan. Claim payments are made promptly upon proof of death or loss.
Your beneficiary may choose to receive the benefit at one time or in monthly installments.
Renewal and
Conversion Rights
-
You can not be
singled out for cancellation. You may continue your Guaranteed Issue
coverage to age 80, assuming you pay your premiums and the Group Policy remains in force.
With Guaranteed Issue you may convert your term
policy for the same amount of permanent life insurance other than term within 31 days
after your coverage ends.
